Shortly after my son Christian was born, I notified my
friend Donny Carr, of his birth and told him to hold an
antelope spot in 12 years, because we were coming to
Colorado.
I knew he would be a hunter, like his brothers, his Dad,
his Cousins and Uncles, his Grandfather (SCI Hall of
Fame 2004) and his Great Grandfather.
Since Christian only stayed with us here on earth for a
short time, and I knew I would have taken him hunting,
my wife Jodi and I decided to “donate” a hunt, in
Christian’s name. We left the rest to Donny, knowing he
would find the right kid. ~ Vince Ripepi
